I've never been an artist. I've never had enough feelings for art. Art is nothing without feelings. Feeling is what gives art meaning, what brings people to a loss for words.

I've never been a poet. The poems that are posted, I didn't write. The person that wrote them is inside me, but she's not me. And though her poems are simple speech and amateurish, they have feeling. I'll always envy her feeling.

I am not a photographer. That wasn't me either. The beauty that she sees in the world has never been clear to me. How she can capture a moment in a freeze frame and always remember it fondly is beyond me.

I write, but I am not a writer. I have a gift for writing about a life lived. I've been told my blog can change the world. But my blog isn't art. I write from a detached point of view, there's no feeling. It's just words on a screen.

I want to be an artist. I want to look at something that I've made and find some meaning to this life.
I want to make something beautiful. But I don't feel. I have no clue where to start.
